The aim of the Program

Doctoral study in Business Economics is organized over three years with the aim of enhancing the knowledge, abilities, and skills which will enable students to understand problems related to complex economic and business relations by using adequate scientific methods and models and to plan and conduct their own research. Students who complete this doctoral program will acquire a wide academic qualification and a detailed understanding of theories from the field of business economics, as well as adequate scientific-research methods.
 

What is the title that you get?

Candidates who successfully complete the study are given the title of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in the field of Business Economics.

Elective course I
Elective course I is a course in theory which covers the narrow field of the student’s interests: Advanced Economics, Advanced Finance, Advanced IT Management, Advanced Quantitative Methods and Models, Advanced Marketing, Advanced Management or Advanced Accounting.

Elective course II
Elective course II can be either theoretical or methodological (the student chooses one course from a list of offered elective courses with the approval of the appointed supervisor) or a course taught within a framework of international cooperation with other higher education institutions or a course finalized during Summer Schools for students of doctoral studies.
