The MIT Center has made great contributions to the development of our information system. It was first made into an organizational unit of the School as a result of the Soros Foundation’s Decision on Donation in 2000. The premises and equipment available to the Center provide significant support for education initiatives. Because it was established at the very end of the war, MIT Center was fully developed over the period of 1996-2002.

The main activities of the Center are as follows:

• Educational programs in management and up-to-date information technologies for undergraduate and postgraduate studies, specialist education and various forms of knowledge reinforcement
• Providing content and infrastructure for interactive distance-learning
• Development of multimedia forms of educational content
• Research and expert activities
• Reference and publishing operations
• Forum operations.
