“No job is as vital for (our) society as a manager’s”

                                                                                             Mintzberg Henry

sunjeThe resource our (and any) country needs the most are capable managers, above all capable top-managers and entrepreneurs. Top managers lead business entities strategically and operationally, and it is them that the success of the organizations and institutions led by them depend on. Entrepreneurs develop new businesses, recognize business opportunities, and turn them into self-sustainable businesses. There are no successful economies without quality top managers and entrepreneurs. Managers and entrepreneurs are key drivers of any successful economy.
Cathedra of management and organization allows students to understand the functioning of their business organizations, offering knowledge on business and directing them to the way of building necessary skills and competencies that entrepreneurs and managers at all organization levels should possess. Courses within the Cathedra and concentrations on the first and second level of study use the “great power” logic and, step by step, part by part, cover all the aspects related to managerial and entrepreneurial leadership and establishment of business organizations, developing a broad array of competences and soft skills business people should possess. Cathedra of management and organization makes our students capable of leading business systems as top managers, and establish their own businesses as entrepreneurs.
At the moment, Cathedra of management and organization consists of five full-time teachers and seven full-time teaching assistants, and a certain number of external associates. These are leading teachers in the country, recognizable in the region, with rich consulting experience, who are deeply involved in economic and social happenings in the country. Cathedra teachers are also excellent educators who proactively keep track of modern trends and comprehensively educate our students, preparing them to successfully respond to all types of challenges brought by the business world. Our teachers have published a great number of referenced textbooks that are used in the education process, and keep publishing research papers in varied academic publications and conferences in the country and abroad.
Cathedra representatives also organize numerous courses and life-long learning seminars for individual areas related to managing and establishing businesses, following current world trends.
