Graduate student Amela Melkić defended her master thesis on Islamic Banking Master Programme on Monday, 09.10.2017. at the School of Economics and Business Sarajevo.
We are very proud to congratulate Amela Melkić on her big success. Graduate student Amela Melkić defended her master thesis on Islamic Banking Master Programme on Monday, 09.10.2017. at the School of Economics and Business Sarajevo.
The topic of the master thesis was "The Role of Islamic Microfinance in the Impowerment of Women Entrepreneurship (SME) - Case of Bosnia and Herzegovina". Her supervisor was professor Velid Efendic PhD. Members of the committee were professor Jasmina Selimović PhD (EFSA) and professor Mohammed Sabri PhD (University of Bolton UK).
In the opening minutes professor Selimović introduced the candidate, and members of the committee. Then Amela Melkić successfully presented her research, methodology and findings. After that, committee members proceeded with questions and comments. Amela Melkić successfully answered the questions, and after consultations the committee approved that Master candidate Amela Melkić successfully defended her master thesis with the mark - Ten (10).
Centre for Islamic Economics Banking and Finance wants to congratulate Amela Melkić and wish her even more success in academic and professional career.
