Amela Trokić - Master Thesis Defence

Graduate student Amela Trokić defended her master thesis on Islamic Banking Master Programme on Monday, 19.09.2016. at the School of Economics and Business Sarajevo.

   We are very proud to congratulate Amela Trokić on her big success. Graduate student Amela Trokić defended her master thesis on Islamic Banking Master Programme on Monday, 19.09.2016. at the School of Economics and Business Sarajevo. This is the first Master Thesis defence on Joint-degree Master programme of School of Economics and Business Sarajevo and University of Bolton (UK).

The topic of the master thesis was „Is Religiosity Important in Islamic Banking? Exploring Customer Choice and Awareness of Islamic Banking“. Her supervisor was professor Velid Efendic PhD. Members of the committee were professor Azra Zaimović PhD (EFSA) and professor Mohammed Abdel Haqq PhD (University of Bolton UK).

In the opening minutes professor Zaimović introduced the candidate, and members of the committee. Then Amela Trokić successfully presented her research, methodology and findings. After that, committee members proceeded with questions and comments. Amela Trokić successfully answered the questions, and after consultations the committee approved that Master candidate Amela Trokić successfully defended her master thesis with the highest mark - Ten (10).

Centre for Islamic Economics Banking and Finance wants to congratulate Amela Trokić and wish her even more success in academic and professional career.
