CALL FOR PAPERS: The 7th International Conference on Islamic Banking and Finance: Risk Management, Regulation and Supervision (ICIBF 2016)

The Islamic Research and Training Institute (IRTI),and the European Association of Islamic Economics, Banking and Finance (EUIEBIF) with the support University of Sarajevo, School of Economics and Business Sarajevo (SEBS) are organizing a two-day event on risk management, regulation and supervision with a particular emphasis on “Financial Stability and Systemic Risk” in the context of Islamic financial system. 

The conference aims to explore a broad range of topics, including but not limited to:

• Contemporary risks to financial stability arising from Islamic banking model in an integrated financial system;
• The role of Islamic Financial Stability Board (IFSB) in designing framework and promoting regulatory reforms for Islamic banks with the aim to promote financial stability of the global financial system;
• Systemic risks: measurement approaches for Islamic banks and Islamic financial system
• Macro/micro-prudential regulatory framework supporting financial stability;
• Incentive based regulatory framework in Islamic financial system;
• Applied stress testing: framework, methodology, and modelling
• Other relevant topics

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

All submissions shall preferably be in MS Word format. Submissions should be original contributions and will go through an evaluation process. Selected papers will be the copyright of the conference organizers.

Publication Opportunities:

In consultation with the conference organizers, and the managing and subject editors ofEmerging Markets Review, Journal of Multinational Financial Management andJournal of International Financial Markets, Institutions and Money, authors of selected papers will be invited to submit their papers to a regular issue of these journals with a fast-tracked review.
