Irfan Ibrović – Masters Dissertation Defence

Irfan Ibrović sucessfully defended his master's dissertation on Islamic Banking Master Programme on Friday, 28.10.2016. at the Sarajevo School of Economics and Business (SEBS).

Irfan Ibrović, our student from the first generation of Joint-degree Islamic Banking Master Programme has sucessfully defended his master's dissertation, being among the first ones to complete the programme and obtain a title of Master in Islamic Finance.

Master dissertation defence took place on Friday, 28.10.2016 in the presence of professor Azra Zaimovic PhD (SEBS) acting as commitee member and professor Muhammad Sabri PhD (UoB) acting as head of commitee.

Dissertation titled „Effect of Sharia Compliance on Underpricing Phenomenon: Case of Inital Public Offerings at Qatar Stock Exchange“ was written under supervision of professor Velid Efendic PhD and presents one of the pioneering works being  written in the field of Islamic Capital Markets.

Findings from this research can serve the purpose of further development of Islamic Finance worldwide and especially in the countries of the Gulf Area.
