International scholarships in Islamic Banking – School of Economics and Business Sarajevo

Centre for Islamic Economics, Banking and Finance at Sarajevo School of Economics and Business announces call for the award of scholarships for the academic 2017/2018 for funding master studies in the field of Islamic banking


Eligible for scholarship are international students who intend to enroll in the master studies in the field of Islamic Banking at the University of Sarajevo (master study organized in partnership of the School of Economics and Business Sarajevo, University of Bolton and BBI Academy). Eligible are students from the following countries: Albania, Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Canada, EU countries, Japan, Jordan, Kosovo, Kuwait, Macedonia, Malaysia, Montenegro, Norway, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Switzerland, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, USA.

Scholarships will consist of €3579,25  per year (50% of tuition fee) aimed at payment of part of tuition fee. Students will have to provide the rest of the tuition fee (€3579,25 per year) and the evidence/statement on ability of payment must be provided with aplication.

Candidates interested in scholarship should submit their application, together with the following documents:

  • CV with picture
  • Document that confirms the place of residence
  • Diploma of first cycle of studies (Bachelor degree)
  • Appropriate document proving the success (marks) achieved in the first cycle of studies (grade point average)
  • A recommendation (from a professor or employer)
  • Statement that rest of the tuition fee will be paid
  • Motivation letter

Application without all above documents will not be considered.

It is important to note that all documents must be written in English language otherwise application will not be taken into consideration. Skype interview with shortlisted candidates is obligatory.
