AACSB International—The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business is a global, nonprofit membership organization of educational institutions, businesses, and other entities devoted to the advancement of management education. Established in 1916, AACSB International provides its members with a variety of products and services to assist them with the continuous improvement of their business programs and schools. SEBS is a member of AACSB International and holder of the AACSB Accreditation.

 

European Foundation for Management Development

School of Economics and Business Sarajevo is the first and only higher education institution that obtained EFMD membership. EFMD is and international accreditation body of quality in management education.

EPAS is an international program accreditation system operated by EFMD. It aims to evaluate the quality of any business and/or management program that has an international perspective and, where of any appropriately high quality, to accredit it.

School of Economics and Business Sarajevo obtained the EFMD/EPAS accreditation in the year 2012.

 

Austrian Quality Agency

AQA is an independent quality assurance agency for the entire higher education sector. It is founded by relevant stakeholders within the Austrian higher education system. AQA promotes development of quality at higher education institutions by offering expertise for the implementation of quality assurance and quality management systems for teaching, research and management.

 

ISO 9001:2008

SEBS was awarded the ISO 9001:2008 certificate on March 25, 2009 by Bureau Veritas. The document certifies that the quality management system of the SEBS has been audited and found to be in accordance with the requirements of the management system standards. The scope of this certification covers the following areas: development and implementation of academic programs for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd study cycles of HE and non-academic degree programs, courses and training according to the LLL concept including reserach and scientific work, research and develeopment projects. The SEBS had defined the sequence and interaction of these processes, criteria and methods for assurance of operation and control. The SEBS ensured the availability of recourses and information necessary to support the operation and monitoring of these processes and measurements and analyses.
