Business Community
SEBS has a very well developed cooperation with the business community which is realized through Business Advisory Borad (BAB)

As the oldest and biggest school in the field of economic studies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and due to a number of activities dedicated to the enhancement of the quality of its processes and activities, School of Economics and Business in Sarajevo has the reputation of one of the most prominent higher education institutions in B&H and in the region. Considering that we are an institution whose main mission is the provision of high-quality higher education in the field of economics and management, SEBS has continuously developed a cooperation with the business community as well.

In order to establish an institutional and formal cooperation with the representatives of the business community in our country, School of Economics and Business in Sarajevo founded Business Advisory Board in 2005. This expert-consulting body convenes up to four times a year and has so far had more than 20 meetings. It is consisted of the representatives of more than 20 biggest public and private companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad. The current president of the Board is Branimir Muidža, Chairman of the Management Board in Heidelberg Cement Group for B&H and Croatia, and the President of B&H Council of Foreign Investors.

The aim of BAB is to establish and maintain stable connections between the academic community and the business community, and make them serve as guidelines, support and correctives to one other in their work.
BAB has a primarily advisory role – it helps us gather information from the business community regarding the needs for specific workers' profiles, the enhancement of educational process, the choice of adequate study programs, etc. In the Board meetings, we expect members of the business community to inform us on what they need from us, and together we will find a way to achieve that. In the meetings, we also discuss various subjects regarding economics, production, export, etc.
