How to study?

School of Economics and Business of University in Sarajevo offers you tri possible ways of studying on the first and second cycle of studies:

Full-time studies

Full-time studies is the traditional way of studying. It is intended for students who can attend daily lectures in the classrooms. Classes are mostly carried out in-class. In this way, students have an ongoing direct communication with the faculty. 

Full-time self-financed studies

This type of studying is the same as regular full-time studies, except students have to pay tuition fees themselves. It is intended for those who can attend daily lectures in the classrooms. Classes are mostly carried out in-class. In this way, students have an ongoing direct communication with the faculty.

Distance learning (DL) studies

Distance learning, as a new form of learning, offers students  a possibility to master the material with the option of studying at a time that is convenient for them. 

An increasing number of students world wide performs a significant part of their studying duties from home, using the Internet-based contents that have been prepared and designed specially for them, so that they lead them through the process of learning and mastering the curriculum. School of Economics and Business in Sarajevo started this form of studying six years ago, with students obtaining additional materials from teachers. Besides, teachers and students use this system for receiving additional explanations, information exchange, and work on joint tasks.

In the academic year 2006/2007, a DL system that fully corresponds to the traditional (in-class) studying was initiated. Traditional and DL classes for undergraduate students are considered to be of equal quality and have the same value, both in further education and in the labor market.
