The University of Sarajevo – School of Economics and Business proudly announces the 10th Economic Forum of Bosnia and Herzegovina!
The 2025 Forum will be held on May 19, 2025, starting at 10:00 a.m., in the Bosniak Institute – Adil Zulfikarpašić Foundation in Sarajevo.
This year’s Forum theme – Sustainable Development and Digital Transformation – will bring together experts, representatives of institutions, the business and academic communities, and international organizations to encourage dialogue on linking sustainable development goals with digitalization processes. Through two panel discussions and one practical workshop, the Forum will offer insights into key challenges and opportunities brought by digital transformation across both the public and private sectors:
The focus of the Economic Forum of Bosnia and Herzegovina 2025 is on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the processes of digital transformation, highlighting how modern technologies can contribute to inclusive, sustainable, and resilient economic development. Through panels and the workshop, the Forum will provide space for analysis of the impact of digital transformation on key sectors in Bosnia and Herzegovina and globally, including public administration, finance, industry, and information and communication technologies. Special attention will be given to practical aspects of digitalization, especially the implementation of qualified electronic signatures and electronic data exchange, with the goal of enhancing security, interoperability, and efficiency in modern business and administration.

The Economic Forum of BiH 2025 is organized in cooperation with distinguished international, regional, and local partners, including the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers and Data Exchange of BiH (IDDEEA), IT company LANACO, the Shared Society and Values Foundation, the Sustainable Development Solutions Network for the Western Balkans (SDSN WB), the Nizami Ganjavi International Center (NGIC), and the Bosniak Institute – Adil Zulfikarpašić Foundation.
The official language of the Forum is Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian, and simultaneous translation into English will be provided.
