Economic Forum of Bosnia and Herzegovina 2026

The University of Sarajevo – School of Economics and Business has the honor and pleasure to invite you to attend the Economic Forum of Bosnia and Herzegovina 2026, which will take place on April 29, 2026, at the Bosniak Institute – Adil Zulfikarpašić Foundation in Sarajevo.

This year’s Forum will be held under the overarching theme: “Energy Transition as a Generator of Growth and Sustainable Development – Pathways for Bosnia and Herzegovina”, bringing together distinguished national and international experts, decision-makers, representatives of industry, the financial sector, and academia.

The Forum program includes two high-level thematic panels:

  • Panel I: Accelerating the Renewable Energy Transition – Policies, Governance, and Regulatory Reform
  • Panel II: From Strategy to Implementation – Real-World Experiences in Developing Renewable Energy

Through these discussions, participants will have the opportunity to explore key challenges and opportunities related to the energy transition in Bosnia and Herzegovina, exchange experiences, and contribute to shaping concrete recommendations aimed at improving policies and strengthening the investment environment.

Since its establishment in 2017, the Economic Forum of Bosnia and Herzegovina has positioned itself as a leading platform for economic dialogue in the country, bringing together more than 3,000 participants from various sectors. The Forum provides a unique opportunity for networking, exchange of ideas, and active participation in shaping economic and development trends.

The Forum is organized by the University of Sarajevo – School of Economics and Business, in cooperation with the Society of Common Values Foundation, the Nizami Ganjavi International Center, SDSN Western Balkans, and the Bosniak Institute – Adil Zulfikarpašić Foundation, with the support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Bosnia and Herzegovina, ASA Bank, and Unipromet.
