About A4Sustinno
  • Project Description

The A4SUSTINNO proposal addresses the ADRION SO 1.1, and aims at strengthening capacities at the innovation ecosystems throughout the whole ADRION area. Nine organization from eight countries, including APs, combine personnel and material resources for jointly developing the overall novel methodology and implementing pilot studies for demonstrating its flexibility, transferability and general applicability.

The overall objective of the project is the development and testing of a highly replicable business model for the ADRION area that will constitute a novel supporting mechanism for innovative start-ups and existing SMEs, through setting up distributed local networks of relevant actors, following a quadruple-helix approach, redesign of training modules to include sustainability and quality, and development of on-line tools for identifying start-ups’ training needs, altogether comprising a distributed and interregional 1-stop-shop for less-developed innovation ecosystems.

The main beneficiaries will be all the actors of the innovation ecosystems in the ADRION area.

The novel methodology will be tested extensively in 9 areas with different characteristics, so that the final outcome will be applicable throughout the whole ADRION area, and the user requirements for the platform will satisfy the needs of all partner ecosystems, due to the deeply transnational approach in the development of all outcomes.

The innovative features consist of the unique matching of training needs offered by the digital platform, the distributed Science and Technology Parks type of mechanism that will be created in each local ecosystem, by summing resources and capacities of all relevant stakeholders, so that an almost full range of services could be offered even in areas with minimal support structures.
