Programme objectives

The purpose of master programme is for students to master knowledge in the area of public sector/environment and develop the ability to understand the areas of microeconomics and public organization management, as well as to master the research methods and techniques. The programme’s objectives are to:

• Introduce the specifics of public sector economy compared to private sector to students
• Develop managerial skills in students and thus make them qualified for managing organizations that operate in public sector
• Develop the students’ ability to understand changes occurring in public sector
• Make students capable of making contributions to science through research and application of research methods in solving problems in the area of public sector economy and management and environmental protection
