On Tuesday, November 5th, an successful workshop titled "Responsible Use of Products and Environmental Protection: The Case of Bosnia and Herzegovina" was held at the University of Sarajevo – Faculty of Economics. The workshop, organized as part of the REPair PERspective (REPper) project funded by the European Union through the Interreg Euro-MED program, attracted a large number of participants, including students, teaching and administrative staff from UNSA, as well as other interested individuals.
The workshop was opened by Assistant Professor Tea Mioković Polić, who presented an overview of the REPper project and the current developments in the repair sector in Europe. Assistant Professor Mioković Polić emphasized the importance of promoting the principles of repair and reuse as key elements of sustainable consumption, and highlighted that the aim of this project is to raise awareness about the responsible use of products and environmental protection.
Following the introductory presentation, Professor Almir Peštek conducted an interactive workshop on the responsible use of products in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Professor Peštek spoke in detail about the role of consumers in environmental preservation, and through specific examples and practical advice, he showed how each of us can contribute to sustainable practices. A special focus was placed on the importance of informing consumers about their rights and the possibility of repairing products, thereby reducing waste and encouraging responsible behavior.
The workshop was well-attended, and the interactive atmosphere encouraged active participation from the attendees. Students and staff of UNSA expressed great satisfaction with the topics covered, emphasizing that workshops of this kind are an excellent opportunity to expand knowledge about sustainable development and environmental protection.
This event once again confirmed the importance of projects such as REPper, which contribute to raising awareness about the responsible use of resources, promote the principles of the circular economy, and encourage sustainable development.

U utorak, 5. novembra, na Univerzitetu u Sarajevu – Ekonomskom fakultetu održana je uspješna radionica pod nazivom „Responsible Use of Products and Environmental Protection: Case of Bosnia and Herzegovina“. Radionica, organizirana u okviru projekta REPair PERspective (REPper) finansiranog od strane Evropske unije kroz program Interreg Euro-MED, privukla je velik broj učesnika, uključujući studente, nastavno i administrativno osoblje UNSA, te druge zainteresirane pojedince.
Radionicu je otvorila docentica Tea Mioković Polić, koja je prisutnima predstavila pregled projekta REPper i aktuelnosti u sektoru popravke u Evropi. Docentica Mioković Polić naglasila je važnost promoviranja principa popravke i ponovne upotrebe kao ključnih elemenata održive potrošnje, te istaknula kako ovaj projekat ima za cilj podizanje svijesti o odgovornom korištenju proizvoda i zaštiti okoliša.
Nakon uvodnog izlaganja, profesor Almir Peštek održao je interaktivnu radionicu o odgovornom korištenju proizvoda u Bosni i Hercegovini. Profesor Peštek je detaljno govorio o ulozi potrošača u očuvanju okoliša, te je kroz konkretne primjere i praktične savjete pokazao kako svako od nas može doprinijeti održivim praksama. Poseban fokus bio je na važnosti informiranja potrošača o njihovim pravima i mogućnostima popravke proizvoda, čime se smanjuje količina otpada i potiče odgovorno ponašanje.
Radionica je bila odlično posjećena, a interaktivna atmosfera potaknula je aktivno učešće prisutnih. Studenti i osoblje UNSA su izrazili veliko zadovoljstvo temama koje su obrađene, ističući kako su radionice ovakvog tipa odlična prilika za proširenje znanja o održivom razvoju i zaštiti okoliša.
Ovaj događaj je još jednom potvrdio važnost projekata kao što je REPper, koji doprinose jačanju svijesti o odgovornom korištenju resursa, promovišu principe cirkularne ekonomije i potiču održivi razvoj.
